Diwali, the festival of lights, the festival of happiness is finally here. It's the festival where the girls and ladies are all set to dress up, make up and flaunt their lehengas and sarees, with complete excitement and zest. It's a festival of diyas and lighting, shopping, gifts, feasts and sweets, decorating your homes and welcoming the Goddess of Wealth - Goddess Laxmi, and a lot more of rituals that are a part of this festival. It's that time of the year where all the family members and relatives come together to bond over feasts and dinners, to light up the Diwali nights with fireworks and lights. And oh, how can we forget the "amount of pictures" that get clicked during this festival.. They are countless!
Personally for me, dressing up has always been a favorite part of this Diwali bash. Where a lot of people are opting for and experimenting with a fusion style dressing, I opted for a traditional Paithani saree with a zaree border. Simple and chic! There's no outfit that can compete with the elegance and grace that a saree carries. Also, the best part of draping a saree is that it adapts to your figure. With women all conscious about their attire going well with their body type, a saree is a perfect attire that will just perfectly adapt to your figure and highlight the right ares if draped well.
